Our experience of working in the hotel industry for many years, specializing in leisure travel sales (as well as corporate) made us look into other options for vacation. We wanted to get the feel and experience of "living" in another country, eat at restaurants that the locals only know about, have the room and space to stretch out, and even just to relax or make your own meal. We wanted an affordable way for a family to travel or a group of friends to spend time together in spacious rooms with great views along with relaxing settings. Marie Koury, Sales and Marketing Marie Koury brings a wealth of hospitality and travel industry experience to Mediterranean Escape. Marie is now promoting villa and apartment vacation rentals in Italy. She has been in the travel industry for over 20 years. She has traveled to over 35 countries and has lived in Australia and Italy.
In 2006, Marie decided to take time out from the hectic corporate environment and return to what she loves - leisure travel. While living in Italy, she founded Mediterranean Escape and continues to expand our portfolio, adding more villas and apartments in all areas of Italy. Marie spends her time between LA and Italy.
